You will need: your pTrumpet mouthpiece, mouthpiece cleaning brush, warm soapy water, plastic container, cleaning cloth
1. Fill your plastic container with warm soapy water. You can use normal washing-up liquid for this - nothing fancy required!
2. Submerge your mouthpiece in the water. You can leave this to soak for a couple of minutes - this will help to naturally get off any excess dirt.
3. Get your mouthpiece cleaning brush ready. All you need to do is clean the inside of your mouthpiece with the brush. Make sure to clean all areas and also inside the shank.
4. Dry your mouthpiece. Once clean, use a cleaning cloth to dry your mouthpiece. Make sure that any moisture or leftover water is removed. You can leave the mouthpiece to sit for a couple of minutes as well.
5. Re-insert the mouthpiece into your pTrumpet. Once dry, pop the mouthpiece back into your instrument and make music!
